The Stony Brook School is an independent college preparatory boarding school founded in 1922. Faithful to its original vision as embodied in the motto 鈥淐haracter Before Career,鈥� the School is distinguished by an integration of rigorous academics and Christian faith. SBS welcomes all students, not just those who identify with the school鈥檚 Christian mission. Typically 100% of the senior class goes on to higher education, most matriculating at four-year colleges and universities. The School鈥檚 55-acre campus is located 50 miles east of New York City on Long Island’s north shore.
