Located in Portola Valley, California, Woodside Priory is a Catholic, Benedictine, independent, co-educational college preparatory school. Our educational experience is centered on the values of individuality, community, integrity, hospitality, and spirituality. In pursuit of these values, teachers encourage collaboration, creativity, communication, critical thinking, and resilience through seeking knowledge and problem-solving. The academic program, led by the monastic and lay faculty, is supplemented with visual and performing arts, athletics, community service, and interest-driven co-curricular activities. Priory offers more than 30 studentrun clubs and fields 15 varsity athletic teams.

Academic Program:

The academic program at Woodside Priory is anchored in our Benedictine values and engages our students rigorously and intentionally. As a community housing a middle and upper school, our faculty are experts in adeptly mentoring our students at different points during their learning, promoting a rigorous and robust curriculum to engage our students in meaningful intellectual discourse and critical thinking while seeking to maintain a balanced life. To this end, Priory requires all students to pursue four semesters of Performing and Visual Arts requirements as well as six semesters of Theology.

College Admission Highlights:

In the past five years, five or more Priory students have gone on to enroll at the following institutions: Claremont McKenna, Cornell, NYU, Northeastern, Princeton, Stanford, Tufts, UC Berkeley, UCLA, USC, and WashU. Last year, 100% of Priory graduates attended a four-year college or university.
