About Us
More than an Academic Experience!
Frontiers, WPI’s premier pre-collegiate outreach program, gives high schoolers an all-encompassing preview of college life at WPI. Students grow their STEM knowledge, participate in lab-based classes, and build connections with peers from around the globe.
As such, students explore a STEM or Business major with a humanities, arts, or business minor. There are over 15 ‘major’ options from Advanced Modern Physics to The Future of Marketing: AI, Analytics, & You. Choose the ‘major’ which interests you and then have fun with over 10 options for a minor such as Theatre or Psychology.
Outside of academics, students spend time with peers and attend social activities (like spikeball and trivia). They also take part in college preparation workshops. To apply to these well-regarded summer programs, students must submit short essays, activities list, transcripts, and recommendations.
