Georgia Tech Pre-College Design Program

About Us

At Georgia Tech, the College of Design offers degrees in architecture, building construction, urban planning, industrial design, and music technology.

As such, they offer related pre-college programs: Architecture, Industrial Design, Music Technology, Building Construction & Urban Planning during at least one session.

The Pre-College program consists of two-week in-person workshops hosted by the College of Design at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This program provides the opportunity to engage with our world-class faculty from Georgia Tech’s community and current students and give high-school (rising juniors and rising seniors) students insight into what it is like to study at one of the Schools in the College of Design.  All students in the program will leave with work that can be included in a portfolio.

All students live on campus, and tuition covers meals as well as all materials. Since these architecture summer programs for high school students are first-come, first-served, students should plan to apply as soon as the application opens only 30 students per program will be accepted. Note that a transcript and essay are required.
