About Us
Fun fact: Johns Hopkins founded America’s first psychological laboratory.
So, if you’re hunting for a stellar remote option, look no further than Johns Hopkins’ pre-college psychology summer programs. Four different courses are available, and all run for two weeks.
If you are looking for a residential option, Johns Hopkins’ five week programs in brain sciences are another great option.
Students can opt for a broader overview of the field in courses like Neurobiology: Cellular & Systems or Neuroscience and Human Behavior. Psychological Profiling, featured course, focuses on the strengths and limitations of psychological methods employed by forensic professionals who assist police in criminal investigations. While all courses are delivered asynchronously, some may have synchronous components.
Students opting to go residential have some general courses to learn about the field of Neuroscience like Introduction to Neuroscience and Introduction to Neuroplasticity and Neurology.
All applicants must have a GPA of at least 3.0 and submit a transcript along with their application. Lastly, if they are accepted—and successfully complete the program—they’ll earn one college credit.
