About Us

Given that Dallas has one of the country鈥檚 top arts districts, it鈥檚 perfect for aspiring artists and museum professionals.

The Summer Institute for Teens is a week-long program that exposes students to many aspects of museums and the art world. This is a workshop focused on connecting with peers and exploring new ideas rather than a technical or portfolio-based program. Tuition for accepted participants is free of charge, and includes art supplies, meals, and a transportation stipend.

As only thirty students are accepted鈥揳nd these Dallas summer programs are free鈥揳dmission is competitive. Interested students must demonstrate their passion for a potential career in art history, studio art, or art education. Furthermore, they鈥檒l need to provide evidence of how they鈥檝e pursued their creative interests outside of the classroom.
