For more than 35 years, Summer at Hopkins has offered motivated high school students the opportunity to engage in rigorous, university-level coursework at Johns Hopkins University, one of the world’s leading research institutions. With both on-campus and online options, students will explore academic interests, earn college credit, and gain meaningful insight into the demands and rewards of college life.

Summer at Hopkins has multiple academic offerings for high school students, allowing them to tailor their summer experience based on interests, goals, and availability.
Pre-College Programs
These two-week intensive courses introduce students to college-level study across a wide range of disciplines, including STEM fields, psychology, data analytics, writing, public health, and more. Next Generation Scholars Academy

Summer Term Courses
Johns Hopkins undergraduate courses are available for qualified high school students to earn college credit. Summer term courses provide a complete collegiate learning experience through courses that are 5, 6, 8, and 10 weeks in length. which courses are available during the 2026 Summer Term.
Successful completion of any offering earns a certificate of achievement, which further strengthens the materials available for a college application.
Academics and Learning Experience
