Where There Be Dragons offers Summer Abroad programs (2-6 weeks) and Gap Year semesters (6 weeks to 3 months) for high school and college students. For 30+ years we鈥檝e been guiding students to incredible locations in Asia, Latin America, Africa, and North America.

Our approach is simple: work with the absolute best instructors, return to communities where we have long-lasting relationships, and run a limited number of programs to ensure every trip is thoughtful, responsible, and intentionally-crafted. We prioritize programs that are well-rounded. We offer small groups and personalized mentorship, with an industry-leading ratio of 4:1 of 12 students to 3 instructors. Each program gives you opportunities to learn new skills for future impact.
