They鈥檒l either offer free tuition upfront or cover the gaps between your other financial aid and the price of tuition.

State-Funded Community College Scholarships

ArFuture (or Arkansas Future) is the newest state grant program designed to help increase the number of STEM workers in the state. The grant covers tuition and fees for certificate and associate degree programs at Arkansas鈥 public institutions for students pursuing science, technology, engineering, and math.

The California College Promise Grant waives the cost of enrollment fees at eligible public community colleges in the state. You can also apply for assistance with books in a separate application.
